Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.......Weekly Deals
Good Week to You!!
Stamp A Stack is on the menu this week. We will be using designer paper from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack to make 12 cards. Included in the fee for this class is the DSP Stack.
The first picture shows the layout of the paper. Different greetings will be added.

The Vintage Leaves (stamp set #138802) are cut out with the Leaflets Framelits Dies (#138283). These two items can be purchased as a bundle # 140235.
For the last card, I used the scraps from the other cards.
To decorate the inside of the card, I used the pieces that were punch out from the banners.

Boxes, Bags and More
Enjoying the change in weather? I love the fall season, so for me I am enjoying the changes around us. Like the weather, the new Holiday Catalog has brought many changes in new products for us to enjoy. I have had fun using some of the items this last week. I have some pictures to share with you that will be made in future classes.
I love the new Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies ( the back right) # 139657. The stamp set, A Little Something, is great to decorate the box for different holidays. If you buy the two together you can save 15% on the bundle! The Wood-Mount Bundle #130858 is $47.50 and the Clear Mount # 140859 is $42.50. The Spider Web Doilies (back left) #139622, makes it easy to decorate and adds accents to your projects. The opposite side of the black is white and so it can be used for snow or if colored for other accents.
The Baker's Box Thinlits # 138279 is one of my favorite new items in the Holiday Catalog. The left and right boxes are made from this die. The Fry Box Bigz L was used to make the middle box. As I mentioned above, I love the Fall Season, and so it is no wonder I was excited to buy the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set and Leaflets Framelits Dies Bundle #140235 to save 15%.
I used the Square Pillow Box for the right front project and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits # 137547 for the 2 bags in the back. The other three boxes did not need Thinlits Dies. I used Merry Moments Designer Series paper to make and decorate these projects.
An Assortment of items were used to make these containers.
This final picture is a class project we will be making at the end of the month.

Sprinkles of Life...
Granma Camp ( yes, that is how I spell Grandma) was a lot of fun this last week. Every Tuesday my
four grandchildren, many times my husband joins us, and I set off for an adventure. This last camp day we traveled on the the link to Seattle, rode on the ferryboat across the sound to Bremerton and enjoyed visiting the Puget Sound Navy Museum . We had fun discovering about the different ships. Lots of hands on activities for the kids. While we waited for the ferry to return to Seattle, the kids had fun playing in the pools, which are designed in the shape of a submarines. A great day in the city. Back home, the children had the energy to play ball in the backyard. After a good meal and of course long talks filled with laughter, smiles and excitement, they crawled in their sleeping bags, and while listening to music, they finally fell asleep. The house was quiet.
We only have one more camp day before school starts. I will miss our adventures, but have new school experiences to share. Being a grandparent is a real blessing from God.

Fancy Fold Card: Using the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set.

Today I am sharing the card we made in class this last week. We used the Vintage Leaves stamp set (#138802), and the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing folder (#139673) on the front of our fancy book fold card. The leaves were stamped on color card stock (Crumb Cake, Hello Honey and Cajun Craze), die cut with the Leaflets Framelits (#138283) and sponged with Cherry Cobbler. The embossing folder was sponged with Chocolate Chip. For embellishments, I used the Gold Basic Metal Buttons (#133763) and Gold Metallic Thread (#138401).
