Craft Show ...Christmas Stamp a Stack

The season has arrived for the craft shows!!  I was at my first Art and Craft Bazaar this past week-end.  I did not get all my projects completed, so I didn't take my shelf unit.  Big mistake!  I had a lot on the 8 foot table.  It was ok, but next week-end  when I am at the United Methodist Church in Auburn,WA on 51st Ave., I will take my shelf  and re- arrange the sections.

 

Do you need to make Christmas Cards?  I am offering a Christmas Stamp a Stack on November 7th.

We will meet at my home 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm.   I designed 4 cards, you will make four cards for each design.  A total of 16 cards for $25.  Bring a snack and your own adhesive to join the fun in stamping and visiting with other stampers.  Be sure to RSVP to reserve your space!  I will have another design you can pick from for those of you who may not need a Santa card.

I am so Happy the Seahawks won their game today.  GO Hawks!!

Reason for the Season

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

This month’s photopolymer release, Gentle Peace (item #139523), was designed by our ever-amazing lead illustrator, Kathy Pitt. We heard your feedback asking for a religious Christmas stamp set, and she created this incredible imagery along with some wonderful inside/outside sentiments.



This set was designed to work with Blendabilities to create the effect of brightly- colored stained glass. We have to give a shout-out to Terri Allen for her masterful coloring of this stained glass window. With some simple embossing, the set also works well as line art if you need to make several cards quickly.

The Box Card was made for a workshop last week.  The girls really enjoyed making this for their special family members.  One card is on its way to Germany!

The cards below were made at our Technique Club meeting this last Tuesday.  We had fun playing with the shaving cream which is the technique we used for the background.  We added three different ink refill colors to the shaving cream.  The second card was the Tissue Paper technique which we used on the background.  It was easy and fast!  Both cards had the Lost Lagoon card base.

ICS Blog Hop Triple Time

Welcome to our Blog Hop!  We picked the technique:  Triple Time Step Stamping to share this month.  It is an easy and fun type of card to make because do not get to appreciate the final look till you put all together.                                                                                                                                

For my card I used Basic Black for the base.  On the Whisper White card stock I stamped the flowers from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set found on page 159 in the main catalog.  The ink colors are:       

Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Elegant Eggplant, Mossy Meadow , Old Olive and Black StazOn.
