After Saturday and three days of on going activities I crashed Sunday.  I am better but my husband now has the flu.  I hope we do not keep sharing this bug.  So the moral of the story is, don't get sick!

Last Friday morning I had my Team Meeting.  It was good and the gals went home with new information, questions answered and make-n-takes.  Below is a picture of one gift I made for my team members.  I forgot to take pictures of the other items. I used the Basket Bunch Bundle for the center decoration.

This is a medium size bag.

Using Designer Series Paper to make the bag makes it is easy to decorate since the paper already has a print.  The die cut circle with the Easter basket, from the Basket Bunch Bundle, gives a focal point.
I love this bundle.  There is a die cut for every stamp in the set making it easy to use.

The bag is 6" x 12",
Score:  The long side 5 1/4", and 6 3/4".
            The short side 1 1/2" and 5"
Cut on the two middle score lines (on the short side) up to the score line                                                     (meeting the long score line).
Fold on the score lines, glue the center small  squares to one side.
Fold up one side and glue
            Done!!

Stampin' Up So Very Much Stamp Set

Hello,

It is a cool but sunny day here in Auburn.  I am enjoying it, especially since I have been sick and finally this afternoon, started feeling better,  I hope I can get back in gear.tomorrow.
Monday I posted a card from the stamp set "SoVery Much" and today I have another card featuring the same set.

I enjoyed making this card.  Using a stamp from the Work of Art stamp set gave the watercolor wash effect.  Stamping with different colors gives a rainbow look.  This is a super card to make in 10 -15 minutes.   All I had to do was cut the base, the black mat and whisper white card stock to stamp the two images and add washi tape on the side.  I sometimes need to have a card like this for my customers to make during a class meeting after we make a difficult technique or fold card.

To make this card, you will need:
1),   Stamp sets:  So Very Much #143340  and  Work of Art #134111 (wood)  #134114 (clear)
2).  Card Stocks:
                     Watercolor Wonder # 138334
                     Basic Black # 121045
                     Whisper White # 100730
3).  Inks:
           Pool Party # 126982
          Watercolor Wonder # 138323
          Crushed Curry # 131173
          Memento Tuxedo Black # 132708

4).  Washi Tape:  Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape #141635

So Very Much

Good Afternoon!
I had a great weekend but ended up with a cold!  Not fun!!  Hope you are doing well.  One month from today is Spring!! Wow, hang in there.
Today I want to share a stamp set from Stampin' Up's Sale-A-Bration mini catalog, So Very Much.  I love the font.  The size is large so it is definitely the main focus of the card.

Supplies to make the above card are listed below:
1).Island Indigo # 122923 is the color card stock for the base of the card.
2).Whisper White #100730 is used for the top mat.
3).The narrow strip of DSP from the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper # 141654, is at the bottom of the card.
4).The silver 3/8" Metallic Ribbon under the flower divides the Whisper White from the DSP.   This ribbon is from the 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack in the SAB catalog.  It is a Free item after you place an order of $50.
5).The flower image under the Thank You is from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set  #141784.
6).Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad and Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad are the two inks used for the words and flower.
7).A Stamping Sponge #141337 is used on the Whisper White to add a background color.

Sending Thank You cards is so important to let people know you really do appreciate their actions, thoughts and caring.  What better way to let them know you care by taking the time to make a card yourself rather than buying one at the store.

Stamp Camp and Hey Chick Stamp Set

Happy Friday!

I have had a fun day getting ready for my Stamp Camp tomorrow.  Below is a picture of  4 of the 8 projects, we will be making.

I had to laugh yesterday when I went shopping for Easter candy.  Stores are just putting the candy on the shelves, so I couldn't find what I was looking for.  Usually I buy the candy when it has been out a few weeks.   Notice in the picture the candy treat with the rabbit on the front, the candy egg inside is small.  Robin Eggs was all I cold find.  I guess I will count my blessings for those.

I will post more information on these projects next week along with the other four projects I have made for the camp.

The picture above is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  You will find it on page 16.  The supplies for the card on the left, are given on the right side.
To place an order for this card, click HERE to shop online at my Stampin' Up store.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Have a great week-end.

Stampin' Up Hey Chick Stamp Set

Hi Everyone,
A rainy day makes a perfect day to be home stamping.  I have to remember it's winter, so rain along with cold temperatures is a natural. This will be a short posting today.  I have a stamp class tomorrow and a Stamp Camp on Saturday, February 18, 2017  which I am still preparing for.  If you live in the Federal Way/Auburn area in WA state, you are invited to join my class tomorrow.   Check the class schedule above.

I think the little chick in the card below is so cute.  I am finding this stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog, Hey Chick is an easy set to make quick and simple cards.

The base of the card and larger size oval,  is Early Espresso card stock # 119686.  The base is embossed with the Woodgrain Embossint Folder #127821.  The DSP is from the Cupcake & Carousels Designer Series Stack Paper #142744 found in the Occasions catalog.    The images were stamped on Whisper White card stock #100730 with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink #132708.  Layering Ovals Framelits #141706 was used to die cut the images. To complete the card with a country feel, a 5/8" Burlap Ribbon #141487 was added at the bottom with a small piece of twine for an accent.

Stampin' Up Hey Chick

Hello,

It's the beginning of a new week with one challenge after another today.  Wondering what is the lesson to be learned.  I tell myself, keep the faith with the walk.

So to move on to a new stamp set this week, the Sale-A-Bration  Hey Chick was chosen.  Being a city girl, I usually don't go for the farm animals but I am finding this stamp set fun. Actually, this is a perfect card for me with all the chaos going on.

Sale-A-Bration is the  Biggest Event of the Year, right now until March 31,2017.  To add to this great sale a 2nd release of Sale-A-Bration items will be available February 21, 2017.

Hey Chick Stamp Set

Bermuda Bay card stock # 131197 , the base of the card is a cheerful color to brighten someone's day.  Memento Tuxedo Black # 132708 was used to stamp the image and words on Whisper White card stock # 100730.  Coloring the image with the Watercolor Pencils # 141709 from Stampin' Up made this an easy quick card.  A piece of Cupcake & Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack  mounted on a piece of Early  Espresso stock card #119686 is placed behind the image, to add some detail to the card.  By adding  a 5/8" Burlap Ribbon # 141487 along with an White Perfect Accents piece #138416 the card is now complete.

Stampin' Up Avant Garden

Hello and a Happy Saturday to you.
This is the last sample card, for the stamp set Avant Garden.  I will be posting another Sale-A-Bration stamp set next week.

I love this fold, but unfortunately, I do not remember the name of it to share.  I do have the measurements, if you are interested in making this type of card.
Cut the full sheet of card stock in half, which is 4 1/4" by 11".  Place the left edge of the card stock  at the 2 1/2" mark.  Bring the cutting blade down to the 2 1/4" mark and cut till you reach the 6 3/4" mark and stop.  Scoring is next:  score the right edge to the cutting line at the 2 1/4" mark.  Next score the width of the card stock at 4 1/2" all the way across.  The last score line is at the bottom of the cutting line.  Score the left side to the cutting line at 6 3/4" mark.  Fold on the score lines:  The 2 1/4" is folded up like a mountain, 4 1/4 is next the top narrow strip is a valley the wide bottom part is folded up like a mountain and the last fold at the 6 3/4" mark is a valley, folded down.

It is not a hard card to make.  Hope you try it.
Below is a list of supplies.
Card Stock:  Daffodil Delight #119683, Old Olive #100702 and Whisper White #100730

Stampin' Up Stamp Set Avant Garden

Hello
Welcome to another day of sharing the stamp set Avant Garden.  Today I challenged myself to make a card for you, only using the stamp set and of course card stock.  Instead of using ink pads, I used the In Color Stampin' Write Markers to color the image.  A card can have a different look by adding an accessory or by changing the card stock color, I made some samples. Hope you enjoy the samples.

This first card I only used Whisper Card Stock.  If you look close, I stamped on  a mat which is then  mounted on the base of the card.

By adding the ribbon, the color of the flowers are accented.

Changing the base to a colored card stock
Notice the big change by adding the ribbon.
Basic Black is the base of this card.
The ribbon was added to dress up the card.

In this last sample there is a layer effect by building up the color by using three colors.

There are so many possibilities one can do to change the effect by adding more embellishments.
Paper crafting is a fun relaxing experience to use your creative mind.  It is also a good way to add to someone's happiness when they receive your card.

I hope you will try using this stamp set to make your cards.  By placing an order of  $50 (before shipping and tax) you can earn this stamp set,, Avant Garden "Free".  To help you order your supplies, you will need the following items besides your adhesive and paper trimmer.
Card Stock:  Whisper White #100730,  Basic Black #121045,  Cucumber Crush #138335
Ink:  In Color Stampin' Write Markers 2015 - 2017  #138333
Ribbon:  5/8" Mini Striped Ribbon, Cucumber Crush #141429 or Watermelon Wonder #141433.
To place your order online please click HERE to go to my Stampin' Up store.

Tomorrow I will have another sample using this fun and great stamp set, Avant Garden.
Thank you for visiting.  I look forward to sharing another card with you.
Hope your Friday ends the week well.
Heart to You,
Olivia
