Blooming Flowers

Have you made your Spring and Easter  Cards?   The cards below, can be used for just about any occasion throughout spring.
The first card is from the stamp set 'Field Flowers'.  I used the tissue paper technique for the base of the flower.  This is a fun, quick and effective method.  The colors used in the card are from the 'In Color' group which will be retired this June.  I will miss this group, so I plan to make as many cards as possible using these colors.

In the card above I used the 'Blooming with Kindness' stamp set.  It is very versatile for many different occasions having  five good sentiments.  I plan to keep this stamp set in my collection of stamps; however, the Easter Blessings is not one of the five sentiments.  It is a single stamp you can find in the Stampin Up spring catalog, ' Making A difference For 25 Years'.

Same stamp set just different colors.  I am not sure which colors I like best.

The card below is like the card I made at pre-convention this last summer.  I love how the card fans out and can be used on a desk at work or anywhere on a counter for a decoration. The flowers are stamped from the 'Mixed Bunch' stamp set, and punched out with the 'Blossom' punch.

                                                                      a side view

                                                                      a top view

The last card below is a card I made for a swap at convention last summer.  The white and red flowers are embossed.  The stamp set is called 'Summer Silhouettes.

Love and Sympathy

Sometimes we have to express our Love when there is sorrow around us. What better way than sending a card?
These cards can let people know we are thinking of them.

Thinking of others with a heart of Love.

I made this card at a demonstrator's meeting. It was designed by Sherry Nye.
I love the soft colors and peaceful feeling of the card:

It is difficult when our friends and loved ones must deal with sad times, but it is comforting to know that sending a little note of love can add a bit of sunshine during their time of need.

Warm Regards,
Olivia

Getting Ready to Celebrate Spring

Ears to You, is a Stampin Up single stamp you can buy til March 31.  Since Easter is in March, I thought I would offer a class for my stampers to use this stamp.  The stamp will be included in the March 8th class fee.   This is just one card sample of what we will be making.  Please check my class schedule and send me an e-mail to reserve you space.

The picture below a Spring Card that can be used for any occasion.

A little peek inside the card above:

I used the Stippled Blossoms stamp set for the above card.

In the two cards below, I used one of my favorite techniques in stamping-- embossing.

The Hello Doily stamp (above) and  the beautiful Swallowtail stamp (below) are embossed in white.

That is all for now.  Back to making cards for my classes.  I hope you have time to stamp today.
See you soon.  Olivia

'Everybunny', Happy Easter!

A Happy Easter to 'Everybunny'!  This card is for my grandsons for Easter.  Yes, I will make 3 of these, since I have three grandsons.  They enjoy anything they can ride on, so I think they will like this card.  Happiness in the fast lane!  I used the 'Everybunny' and 'Need to Speed' stamp sets from StampinUp.

Easter is in a couple of weeks.  If you are like me, I get busy and seem to forget dates.  I hope this card will give you an idea for your cards.
Have Fun Stamping,
