December Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joyful Christmas Blog Hop.  Hope you enjoy the projects.  They can give your creative mind some ideas for your own projects, so make sure you visit all the blogs listed below.  All the bloggers are from Stampin' Up and love what they do to inspire others.
Below are some of the projects I have made and want to share with you. Today I have a couple of different angels to show.  The first two pictures features the Extra-Large Gift Box. This is a great box for gifts and is even  food safe. There are three boxes to a package, 4 3/8" x 6" x 6".  You can find them on page 37 in the mini catalog. Great examples of decorating styles can be found on page 16.  The following items were used to make the angel:  Whisper White card stock, embossed with the Northern Flurry Floder, punched with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Modern Label punch, and the 1 1/4" Circle punch.  The angel is attached to the rosette, which is made from the Designer Rosette Bigz LX (you need to use the Big Shot for this item.  The designer paper, 'Season of Style' on box, is also found in the mini catalog on page 23.

This angel is just like the one above but I used the 'Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper' and this angel can be used as an ornament.  I added the 'Frosted Finishes Embellishments' to add a detail.  Love these embellishments.  They are found in the mini catalog on page 28 (132150).
The angel below is a swap I made for convention last summer.  She is made with the Petite Purse Bigz L, (I embossed the bottom with the Delicate Designs Folder), Heart Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Owl Punch, and Blossom Punch.  I used the Simply Pressed Clay and the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds  to make the flower.

In the picture below you can see the back of the angel.  For the wings and halo, I used the Tea Lace Paper
Doilies and Glimmer Paper.  As you can see the final touch for the back, is a bow made with the Organza     Ribbon, which is one of my favorite ribbons.

Be sure to visit tomorrow for some more fun ideas I have to share with you!!  In fact I have 4 days of items to share, so take time to check each morning.  Christmas is on its way!!
