Convention

I had a great time at convention this year. It was so much fun seeing old friends and meet new ones. For the first time, I was able to go to all the convention activities and still have time to sit, and visit with old friends.
My swaps were terrific! I came home ready to start a new year and work on expanding my horizons.
I can't wait to work on setting up a schedule for classes, as well as offering online classes.

Inspire - Create - Share- Blog Hop

Red White and Blue is the theme for this month's blog. We are in July and the 4th of July is a big event, but I decided to do a card that will cover many different events this month. Hope you enjoy visiting all the blogs on this hop.

I used two stamp sets for this card. One is the new stamp set 'Sea Street" (wood #133985 / clear #133988) and the other is a carry over from the Spring catalog 'Just Sayin' (wood # 133200 / clear # 133203), which I die cut, using the Big Shot. For the water, I used the tearing technique and stamped on the middle and bottom layers. The octopus was stamped on the same color card stock used for the waves and so it made it easy to cut around the octopus and add it to the ocean scene.
