Happy Easter

Hello!  I hope you had a good week-end.  I had a great experience meeting new people at Hobby Lobby this last Friday and Saturday.  I am offering a day and night class at the store, so to inform people about the class, I set up a table for people to view my cards and sign up for the class.  The night class was certainly a popular time for a class.  I am please to say I have full classes and really look forward to teaching my new students.
I made this card for an up coming class I will be having this week with my new student.  I wanted to make a card that is easy and quick using the 'Free' designer series paper I earned by buying $50. of products during the Sale -A-Bration special.  I love this paper!!  The name of the paper is 'Sweet 'Sorbet'.  The stamp set 'Eggstra Spectacular',  (# 133068 wood, # 133071 clear), is from the Spring 'Celebrate The Everyday" catalog.

Spring Wreath

I have created a wreath of my own,using punches, die cuts and the new Fringe Scissors.  It looks very much like the Stampin Up Wreath in the new spring catalog, but is smaller and has different flowers. 

A busy day but a fun day, so this is a short post.  I do have to share with you, I have recruited 2 people this

past week!!!!!!!!!!!!!  A Big and Happy 'Smile', along with a Thankful Heart, is my joy and appreciation these days.  I can't wait to share all about Stampin Up!!

Punch Art: Easter Card!

Good Day to You.  Hope you enjoyed yesterday's Blog Hop.

Below is my Punch Art:   Easter Card.

I am getting ready for Easter.  My customers like to make their holiday cards way in advance, so we made the card below yesterday, during our stamping class.  It took some time to make, but we were happy with the finish card.  Most of the ladies have a child or grandchild to give it to, but I got a laugh, when one lady said, she was excited to give it to her 80 year old friend.  We are never to old to enjoy Spring and Easter.

The base of the card is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.   Insert the card stock into the paper trimmer at 3 inches and cut at the 1" inch mark to the 6 1/2" mark and then score at 1", 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 5" and 6 1/2 on the smaller side of the card stock.  On the 3" side of the card stock score at 4 1/4".  Decorate the card using your punches to create your flower and animals.

Sale-A-Bration 2014 Blog Hop

My card below, one of many you will be able to see throughout the month, is a birthday celebration card.
I used the stamp set 'Another Great Year' found on page 34.  There are five stamps in the set.  You can buy it in wood (133038, $23.95) or clear (133041, $17.95).  The main stamp is large, so you would need the E clear block .  The new 'Fringe Scissors' was fun to use and I was surprised how easy and quick it was to complete the step.  The scissors can be found on page 31, the # is  133325 for $9.95.  I will be using this product on some future cards, so make sure you  view my postings..  The last new item I want to mention is the super new 'Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper' on page 23 #132994 $10.95.  I love all the sheets in this packet.

I have two cards to show you today.  I am thinking pink these days.  I used the new 'Petite Petals' stamp set and punched them out with the 'Petite Petal Punch'.  You can buy these two items as a bundle and save 15% in cost.  They are found in the 'Celebrate The Everyday' catalog on page 33.  The bundle item's # is: Wood 134821 and Clear 134822.  These are also sold separately, Wood 133152, Clear 133155 for the stamp set and 133322 for the punch.   The Thank You stamp, is from the 'Starburst Saying' stamp set, in the same catalog on page 34: Wood 133182, Clear 133185.  As a bundle with the Starburst Framelits Die, the # is  Wood 134817, Clear 134818.  When you buy this bundle you save 15%.

I played with the ink refills today and made this card.  I used the 'Peaceful Petals' stamp set(Wood 133104, Clear 133107),  found in the 'Celebrate the Everyday' catalog.  I embossed the flowers and sponged the green around the flowers.
I am always amazed how a piece of card stock can be transformed into a beautiful card with a few other art tools.  I hope you take time to play around with your tools to make your own creation.
