I am sure most of you are busy getting ready for Thanksgiving Day.  Thanks for taking time to visit my blog today.  I promised you yesterday how to make a candy treat holder.   Below are three treat holders.  You can embellish them any way you like.

First you need an Envelope  Punch Board and a trimmer or the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
I used the Trim The Tree Designer Series Paper Stack from the Holiday Catalog.
It is a perfect size for this project.  It measures 4 1/2 x 6 1/2.  There are 48 sheets in the stack.

On the short side of the paper, score 1" on both sides of the paper.

                                           On the long side, score at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1;2", and 6"

Now you need to use the Envelop Punch Board.
Line the 1" score line in the middle of the opening of the punch nob and punch (on both sides).

Fold on the next score line as the picture shows below and punch on the 1" score line as above.

Do the same thing on both sides of the paper.  This is what the piece looks like when done punching.

Next, apply the sticky strip on the 1/2 side to put the ends together to form the box.
This is what it looks like.

Fold in the ends.
Add your treat.

Tie a ribbon on each end to hold it close.
Embellish it as you like and you have a nice little gift to give.

Well that is it for today,  I saw the Hunger Game movie yesterday and so now I must clean the house and get ready for the family to enjoy Thanksgiving Day.  I so love this great holiday.  No gifts, just a fun time sharing the blessings and love together  with good food.
Heart to You,
Olivia
