Purse and Cards for a Gift
I love Fridays because Saturdays and Sundays are relax days filled with family activities including grandchildren's sport events. I did not post yesterday for a good reason. It was grandma's duty day. One of those days I get to help in a pinch.
The class project this week was making a Purse Card Holder with 6 note size cards. This project can be a great gift for that someone special for any event this next month: Mother's Day, Birthday, Promotion, a Thank You and Graduation.
To make the purse you need a 6" x 11" piece of card stock, score at 5" & 6", a 2" x 8 1/2" strip for the inside of the purse to hold the cards which is scored 1/2" & 1 1/2" on each end. The flap is die cut using the largest circle framelits and scored at 1" & 2". I punch a small hole on each end of the center section (between the 1" & 2") of the circle for the ribbon which I used for the handle and tied knots on the inside. Round the corners of the purse and decorate it.
For the cards, I used the note cards that can be found on page 148 in the main catalog. The price is very reasonable. You get 20 cards and enevelopes for $6.00.
Thank You for visiting my blog. Hope you have a great week-end. Be sure to take some time to stamp and enjoy your creative ideas.
